ROG Phone 5s comes with two live wallpapers – Drones of Detection and Star Ship. To get started, you will have to sideload the apps and run an ADB command. You can grab all the required apps from the next section and follow the steps below to use Asus ROG Phone 5s live wallpapers right now.

Lastly, you should also download the X Mode 2.0 app. This app adds a Quick Settings toggle that you canuse to switch the state of wallpaper. While this app won’t bring Asus’ X Mode to your phone, it helps replicate the animation behavior and brings it closer to what you will find on ROG Phones.

Once you have downloaded and installed all the required apps, you can set the ROG Phone 5s live wallpaper from your phone’s wallpaper picker. If it doesn’t list the wallpaper, you could use the Google Wallpaper app (Download, Free) to set the wallpaper.

When you open X Mode 2.0 app on an unrooted phone, you will see an error message urging you to run the following ADB command.Install ADB on your PCif you haven’t already (orrun ADB from your browser) and run the following command:

After running this command, you can bring the X Mode toggle to the Quick Settings panel. To do that, tap on the pencil icon and drag the toggle to the active area. You can now turn it on or off to change how the wallpaper looks.
