Just a couple of days after theiPhone 12 lineupwas made official, multiple listings, purportedly of the new devices, havepopped upon Geekbench, suggesting minor performance improvements over the iPhone 11-series. The benchmarks also show that the iPhone 12 comes with 4GB of RAM like last year’s iPhone 11, while the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max have 6GB. The results seem to bear outrecent reportsthat also claimed as much.
That said, theA14 Bionicis still believed to be the fastest mobile processor by a margin, so it’s not like Apple has anything to worry about on the performance front as of now. It will be interesting to see if anything changes with theSnapdragon 875next year, but it’s unlikely to be the case, given that even theExynos 2100 is seemingly notching up better scoresthan Qualcomm’s next-gen flagship SoC.
