New Vu Cinema Smart TVs with 32-inch, 43-inch Screen Size Launched Starting at Rs. 12,999

A couple of weeks after unveiling itslatest 4K smart TV lineup, Vu Technologies has launched two new affordable smart TVs in India today. This includes a 32-inch HD-ready and 43-inch Full-HD variant, both of which will go on sale starting from 23rd June on Flipkart.

Vu Cinema TV Specs

The company debuted its ‘Vu Cinema’ smart TV lineup earlier this year with three 4K Ultra-HD Android TVs. They included high-brightness panels, front-facing soundbar, and Android TV 9.0 among other things at attractive prices. Vu has decided to bring some of these premium features to its affordable new Vu Cinema TVs in this lineup.

First of all, let’s get the display resolution out of the way. The new variants include a 32-inch (1366 x 768) HD LED panel and a 43-inch (1920 x 1080) Full-HD LED panel. These panels can reach a peak brightness of up to 500 nits.

Vu has also kept in mind the design preferences of the users these days. Thus, it is offering a bezel-less design even for its most affordable 32-inch variant. You do get a massive bottom bezel but it’s to accommodate the front-facing soundbar.

The key highlight of the 32-inch and 43-inch Vu Cinema TV will have to be the40W front-facing soundbar(two speakers and two tweeters). Most of its competitorsusually include 20W or 25W bottom-firing speakers, which are great. But they may not get as loud or offer an immersive sound experience, backed by Dolby Audio, as the Vu Cinema TV lineup.

The smart TVs are powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor, coupled with a GPU, 1GB RAM, and 8GB built-in storage. Vu Cinema TVs are backed by vanillaAndroid TV 9.0that comes pre-loaded with Google Play, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Prime Video, and more. The smart TVs have Apple AirPlay and built-in Chromecast support.

The 32-inch Vu Cinema TV ispriced at Rs. 12,999whereas the 43-inch Vu Cinema TV is priced at Rs. 21,999 in India. Both of these smart TVs will go on sale from June 23, i.e. tomorrow, on Flipkart as part of the ‘Big Savings Day’ sale event.
