The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been leaked several times in the past and now that a launch is highly expected, we have more leaks to further build some excitement. A new set of images (this time, hands-on) have been leaked hinting at how the device will look in real-life. From what we can see, the design is similar to thepreviously leaked images. Here’s a look.
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE hands-on images leaked
The new leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (courtesy, Abhishek Soni) suggest that the smartphone will come with a vertical rear camera hump and a punch-hole screen, much like the Galaxy S21. The phone has a polycarbonate chassis with a metal frame as opposed to the plastic-bodied Galaxy S20 FE. It is also suggested that the S21 FE will be lightweight.
The device is seen in a gray color but previous rumors suggest that we might get to see a total of five color options. The list mightinclude white, olive green, purple, and blackcolorways. While this is less than what the predecessor offers, there are chances that Samsung might release more colors after the phone is launched.
The phone is also seen featuring an LED flash outside the camera bump (different than the S20 FE), a USB Type-C port, and a SIM slot. However, the images suggest that it will lack a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot.
The tweet further hints at a 120Hz refresh rate and an “awesome camera.” While there’s no mention of the camera configuration, the smartphone is speculated to feature a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto lens at the back. The front camera could stand at 32MP.
Speaking of the specifications, the Galaxy S21 FE could come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and bepowered by a Snapdragon 888chipset. We can expect it to get up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone can get a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging and most likely run Samsung One UI 4.0 based on Android 12.
As for the release date, the new Samsung Fan Edition phone could launch in January early next year, a month before theGalaxy S22 seriesis expected to launch. Just to clear the air, we are yet to get some confirmation on this, hence, it’s best to wait for one. We will keep you posted once more details surface.
