But when there is science, there is always a way to find answers. So, a company has recently conducted a scientific study to find the scariest movie of all time.

However, the researchers have their reason to tag this Scott Derrickson-directed movie as the scariest of all time. So, according to their study, the average resting heart rate of the 50 participants, before watching this film, was at 65 bpm. Now, while watching the film,the average heart of the participants rose to 85 bpm. The heart rate of the person who got scared the most while watching the movie was at 131 bpm.

Nonetheless, with a consistent scare-score according to heart-rates, “Sinister” was the one that came up on top.
