Twitter’s Voice Tweets Coming to Android and Web Next Year

Earlier in June, Twitter startedtesting voice tweets on iOSto let users record voice messages and share them as a tweet. The social media company has now expanded the availability of the feature to more users on iOS.

We’re rolling out voice Tweets to more of you on iOS so we can keep learning about how people use audio.

Meanwhile, Twitter is alsotesting voice-based DMs. As the name suggests, the feature lets you send voice notes through Twitter DMs. The company is limiting the availability of the feature to Brazil for now. We could expect Twitter to globally expand voice DMs sometime in the future.
