The reason for this, according to Moore’s Law Is Dead channel, is that Microsoft is betting on Game Pass sales to make up for the costs.
Further, the pricing of the upcoming Series S will likely be around $350. Moreover, the company maydrop the price of current Xbox Series S and X consoles to $189 and $249, respectively. Microsoft currently sells theXbox Series S and Series X in Indiaat Rs. 34,999 and Rs.49,999 respectively. If this rumor reflects in reality, we could expect the India pricing of Xbox consoles to go down too.
